    Pat brings over 20 years of corporate human resources experience to DuffyGroup. As a diversified HR generalist, Pat has extensive experience in employee relations, training and development and staffing with a strong background in recruitment and candidate selection.

    Pat began her career at Coopers & Lybrand, which led to a leadership role recruiting audit and tax professionals. Prior to joining DuffyGroup, Pat spent over ten years with American Express in both their corporate headquarters in Manhattan, as well as in one of their field locations in Phoenix, Arizona. She was responsible for managing their Campus Relations Program nationally and worked in their Call Center/Operations division. Pat's extensive HR background enables her to work effectively with clients in a variety of industries ranging from manufacturing, hospitality and healthcare to financial services and small start-up organizations.

    During the past nine years with DuffyGroup, Pat has managed research teams and worked closely with clients to facilitate a variety of projects and assist in the recruitment and placement of key management positions.

    Pat earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Mount St. Mary's College in Newburgh, NY.

    Carrie Coward, Vice President/Practice Leader

    As a 16-year veteran in the Human Resources industry, Carrie Coward has integral experience and knowledge of the recruiting and staffing process across many industries. Prior to joining DuffyGroup, Carrie spent several years at Prudential Insurance Company, holding positions in staffing, training & development, and corporate communications. In her early career, Carrie worked in labor relations roles in both union and non-union manufacturing settings. Carrie graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

    Carrie manages a national team of recruiters and works with clients to craft customized recruiting solutions. Her strong communication skills and ability to understand and meet her clients' needs is evidenced in her record of repeat business.

    Relevant experience:

    Higher Education: Carrie's team has a specialized "niche" in filling positions in higher education ~ for colleges and universities. Since 2001, this has included dozens of searches from Presidents to Vice Presidents to Deans/Program Directors. This work has been so successful that Duffy created a "dedicated" team of recruiters to specialize in higher education searches.

    Corporate & Non-Profit: Carrie's team works primarily with corporate clients in the pharmaceutical, consumer goods, and manufacturing realms. Several of her clients are Fortune 200 companies. The searches she conducts are primarily at the leadership level in manufacturing/operations, sales, marketing, finance, HR, and IT. On the non-profit side, Carrie's team fills President, Executive Director, and Director-level positions in a variety of non-profit organizations in the areas of healthcare, tourism, and government.

    Linnea Heitzman, Vice President/Practice LeaderLinnea brings over 20 years of corporate sales and marketing leadership to DuffyGroup, Inc. As a hiring leader, Linnea has first hand experience managing each step in the employee recruitment, selection, training/development, and retention continuum. Prior to joining Duffy, Linnea spent over ten years with Hill-Rom (division of Hillenbrand Industries), in front-line sales and sales leadership positions in multiple geographies. She was responsible for developing and executing business plans to support corporate objectives and profitability goals. Earlier in her career, Linnea held various marketing and program development management positions at Control Data Corporation. She managed a team of health consultants and was responsible for the execution and marketing of a cutting edge corporate wellness program. Linnea completed her Bachelor of Science degree and graduate course work at the University of Minnesota.

    Relevant experience:

    With vast experience in sales, manufacturing, healthcare and business service industries, Linnea aggressively sources key individuals for targeted searches with clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 150 industry leaders. Linnea's forte in sales recruiting led her to creating and managing Duffy's business acquisition and sales lead generation division. Linnea and her team are proud of the long-term client relationships they have built over the years with DuffyGroup, Inc.

    Ann Sylvia, Vice President/Practice Leader
    Ann joined DuffyGroup in 1999. Prior to that, she had a 13 year career at Eastman Kodak Company. She held a variety of roles in Marketing, Sales Operations, and Marketing Communications across multiple business units. Ann leads a team of recruiters and crafts customized search strategies for her clients. Ann's ability to partner with her clients and understand their needs has led to a successful track record of placements. In addition, many of Ann's clients recommend her to their customers.

    Ann's expertise is in the process improvement realm (lean and six sigma methodologies). Her searches are most often relating to manufacturing and operations management and executive level positions. Her clients include some of the country's premier manufacturers and consulting companies. Her work in this area has led her to develop a network of contacts that is tied to the original pioneers of lean and process improvement.
